Frequently Asked Questions

How do I determine my thresholds?
Setting thresholds is a personal process, as the boundaries can vary greatly from person to person. We recommend using the app to explore your own limits and to get a clear picture of your optimal activity level while avoiding relapses.

Will a Heart Rate Variability (HRV) tracker be added?
Currently, the HRV sensor have a low sampling frequency, which makes it unsuitable for tracking shorter time intervals. However, we might add HRV tracking for the Today and Last 3 Days sections in the future.

Will any additional Trackers be added?

We are exploring additional measurements, including time spent in daylight, body temperature, blood sugar, step length and blood oxygen levels. For a measurement to be useful in this app, it needs to be automatically sampled with sufficient frequency.

Will daily symptom tracking be added?

Starting from version 1.6, daily symptom tracking is included. We also plan to introduce more advanced symptom tracking features in future updates.

Will the app be available for iPad?
The iPad does not support the Apple Health app, and therefore, it cannot access or display any health data.

Will the app be available on other platforms?
There are no plans to release the app on Android or any other platform at this time.

Does the application work with wearables other than the Apple Watch?
The application is designed specifically to work with the Apple Watch, and notifications are only available through the Apple Watch app. However, you can use other wearables to collect health data, import it into Apple Health, and analyze it using the Trackuility app.

Can I export any data from the app?
Currently, it is not possible to export any data from the app.

Can I get alerts when I reach my thresholds?

Yes, notifications for reaching tracker thresholds are available on the Apple Watch. However, they are not available on the iPhone, as the application cannot access your health data when the iPhone is locked.

Why are the notifications sometimes delayed?

Apple restricts how frequently an app can access your health data, especially when running in the background. If you have a Trackuility complication on your Watch Face, you will receive more frequent notifications.

Why am I not receiving any notifications?

There could be several reasons for this:

  • Notifications are turned off on your Apple Watch. Please open the Trackuility watch app and ensure notifications are enabled.

  • The tracker is on cooldown. An orange or red icon indicates that the notification has been activated and will be muted until the timer expires. You can reset the timer manually by toggling the notification off and on again or by changing the thresholds. The timer duration is the length of the measured interval or one day for the Last 3 Days trackers.

  • Trackuility app was denied access to notifications. This can be enabled in your iPhone's settings app.

  • Your Apple Watch is locked. The app cannot access your health data in the background when the watch is locked.

Why do the phone app, watch app, and complications sometimes show different values?

Technically, these are different apps that access your health data in various ways and with different restrictions, which can result in varying displayed values.
